Happy Thanksgiving

I'd like to say the reason I haven't posted in a while was because I've been so busy, but truth be told it's just because I've been so boring lately, ha ha.

This Thanksgiving is the first year I didn't spend the day with any family. My friend Leah invited me to spend the day with her and her family, and since I had no prior plans, I accepted the invitation. I was a little nervous to spend a hiloday with people I didn't know at all, but it ended up be one the the most fun Thanksgiving's I've ever had. Leah is such a great friend and her family was so warm and welcoming...I didn't feel out of place at all.

This past year has been very hard for me, those of you who know my family situation can definatley understand why. I'm so used to being surrounded by family, my own or my significant other's, and not just for the holiday's. This year so much has happened and everyone is growing and going seperate ways. I understand that is part of life, but sometimes I really do miss the way things used to be. I am however grateful for all the wnderful people I do have in my life, even if I don't get to see or talk to some of them as often as I'd like ( or as often as I should).

I'm glad you had an enjoyable holiday with your friends. I really miss the way things used to be as well. I try not to think about it too much though. But how nice it would be to be able to just meet up with the family every holiday at "the parents"! Love you Malissa!!

You summed it up for me too. Things change and I have such a hard time with it. I'm glad you had a good friend to spend the day with and that it turned out to be one of the best ever. What a blessing with all the challenges and trials you've had. You are one strong woman, don't forget it! Love ya.
